Hello sketchers,
So for the new cicle of sketchbooksix I decided to interview Gina Marie from Gina Marie Vintage, she studied at FIDM and she has so many talent as you can see through her website where she sells her work (AMAZING pieces) and she's also SO PRETTY!! I decided to interview her, and she's so nice and so sweet, I'm so glad to meet her because she's amazing and an inspiring person too. Ohh and the FABULOUS pic that Gina send me, had inspiring me SO much. The photographer is Stephanie Peterson, an amazing photographer, and a friend of Gina. I would love to meet both in person.

Age: 21- Capricorn
Hometown: Bloomington, MN
Current town: Just moved back to Minneapolis, MN from LOS ANGELES
I realized I wanted to be a fashion designer in the 5th grade when I received my first sewing machine for Christmas. I started making my friends and myself clothing by tracing garments I owned onto new fabric and clumsily sewing the pieces together. You can imagine how cute these garments were : )
I loved studying at FIDM. Moving to Los Angeles was an incredible experience and I loved almost every minute of it!
My favorite class was draping with Mrs. Manukyan, she was one tough cookie but an amazing teacher who I respect.
My favorite fashion icon would have to be Edie Sedgwick. Her life is so amusing.
My inspiration is taken from everything I do and see. Big cities energize my creativity. However, I've found that I'm most creative and inspired when I go for runs outdoors.. I tend to daydream the entire time and come up with new plans and ideas for what's next, such as my online vintage boutique, Gina Marie Vintage.
My style is ever evolving, which draws me to different decades of fashion for inspiration. Right now I'm highly influenced by the 50's and 90's.
I would never long to be famous, just successful in what I do. I'm pretty awful with knowing celebrities so I don't think I could come up with an honest answer. Sorry :- /
I can see my self living in New York, Chicago, San Fran, or Portland. It's crazy to think about now, but I hope to have a happy marriage, children, and 5 dogs by then as well (considering I'll be 41)...
About Gina Marie Vintage's future I hope to have a boutique in a beautiful city where I'll sell my line of clothing (vintage-inspired garments and accessories), along with unique vintage pieces. I would also love to have my line picked up by other boutiques around the world- an excuse to travel and find new homes for my brand.

Hello MY LOVERS!
I'm SO HAPPY with all the lovely comments you left me the last couple of days, I'm SO GLAD to meet all of you and you're all the best readers I could get, thank you SO MUCH. So, I've been away this last week and I'm back with a lot of new ideas for the blog, a lot of new stuff like I've posted before. Are you excited? I am! My life is CRAZY right now and as someone said "things happen for a reason" and I'm so glad with all the good things that are happening to me.
So, first of all I'm going to have a new header! YEY! I'm dying to do it and I think you'd love it. Are you curious? Stay tunned to see it. How was your week?

Do you have this AWESOME crush by shoes as I am? If you do, you really gotta love Jeffrey Campbell! What an amazing shoes, and I'm so in love by these ones, so different and alternative for a simple outfit. Truly amazing.
Tomorrow I'll go on a vacation, again, and I won't be posting for a week! I'm so sorry, but I really won't have the oportunity to have internet, but, during this week I'll be working on my t-shirts line (almost finishing) and I'll post some sketches of it. Want to see another packing post? I'm having so many new ideas for sketchbook, so exciting! Stay tuned..

Hello lovers,
Yesterday was my birthday and here are some pics of my night. I have the most AMAZING people in the world as my friends. Thank you SO much to Maria João, Maili, Ana, Xico, João and Carolina! I had the most amazing night ever, so much fun with you. My girls? We are like Sex and the City, LOVE YOU sweeties. Xico made me scones as a birthday cake, so cute and SO yummy too! I'm really glad to have all of them on my life.
I need to thank to all of you that said the most WONDERFUL things to me, thank you so much sketchers. I'm having so many new ideas for the blog, need to organize them all and then I'll tell you.. Excited? You must be..

Hello my dear lovers!!
I'm back home, finally! I had the most AMAZING time at the Caribbean, here are some pics for you to see.
The people, the food, the animation, the sun, the beach.. it was all SO perfect! Loved the vacations, loved my group. Amazing time! I did a little quick video, actually I look like a little zombie talking because I'm so tired but I really needed to thank to ALL of you that said so many nice things to me, and for all the birthday wishes. THANK you so much, you mean a lot to me.
Yesterday I couldn't upload the video that I made because my Internet connection was SO low, you have NO idea.. I'm so sorry for my late video post, but it's finally live! I don't know why is the video so weird but I'll improve it as soon as I can.

I must confess that I do not like to see patterns in large areas, but this kind of details such a clutch, a bracelet or shoes, give other dimension to the outfit, so I don't think I'll adopt the "animals prints" trend but I'll adopt the little details with it. Loving the contrast of the pink dress with the clutch! AMAZING!
I'm SO happy, my birthday is almost coming, and I'm like a little kid on my birthday and christmas. We all get CRAZY with this kind of celebrations, it's a great familly.
