it's all about the details
It's been a while since my last street style post so I decided to make a best details of 2010 fall, I found this amazing street styles and decided to crop some photos just to show you what my favourite details of the outfits are, is this a good idea? As you should know I'm a HUGE fan of Lauren Conrad and the chic and romantic style, so pastel colors, blazers, cameos, pearls and stuff like that are like a MUST HAVE to me. Camel, jeans, hats, sunnies, blazers, stripes, pastels, browns, velvet were the best details EVER during this season don't you think? Now that winter is almost here, another trends are coming like faux fur, which is the best for cold days.
Já faz algum tempo desde o meu último post sobre street style e por isso decidi fazer um best of dos melhores detalhes do Outono de 2010, encontrei estas imagens e cortei algumas para vos mostrar os meus detalhes preferidos porque no fim de contas, os detalhes é que marcam a diferença num look. Como devem ser sou uma GRANDE fã da Lauren Conrad e do estilo chic/romântico, por isso as cores pastel, blazers, camafeus, pérolas e coisas do género não podem faltar, são um MUST HAVE. Camel, jeans, chapéus, óculos de sol, blazers, riscas, pastel, castanhos, veludo foram para mim dos melhores detalhes deste Outono, não concordam? Agora que o Inverno está mesmo a chegar, aparecem outras tendências como as peles falsas que são perfeitas para dias GELADOS.

I've always LOVED corsets as a history and a fashion lover, corsets are so important in a closet, and I'm no exception. Corsets can give you that feminine touch, even if you don't have boyfriend or husband, corsets make you feel like a princess, slimmer and gives you a great silhouette. I'm current obsessed with corsets and this Louboutin's shoes, inspired by Marie Antoinette, it's really bad because corsets are related to other things, but I can wear them every single day, they're so comfortable. How perfect are these two things? Of course you have very expensive corsets out there, but try simple ones, without lace or details for a good start and you'll see you'll feel like a true princess, even if it's a basic one. Who's with me?
Sempre AMEI corpetes, talvez devido à minha paixão por História e Moda. Os corpetes são tão importantes num armário, e o meu não é excepção, dão-nos um toque feminino, mesmo sem namorado ou marido os corpetes fazem sentir-nos como princesas, magras e dão-nos uma silhueta linda. Estou obcecada por eles e também pelos Louboutins inspirados na Marie Antoinette, tenho pena que os corpetes sejam muitas vezes associados a outras coisas, porque por mim usava-os todos os dias, são super confortáveis. Claro que podem encontrar corpetes muito caros no mercado, mas experimentem comprar um mais simples, sem muitas rendas ou detalhes para um bom começo, verão que se vão sentir como verdadeiras princesas, mesmo que seja um básico. diary// Lazy Sunday
The last few weeks, I've been working a lot and yesterday I decided to stop a bit and try to relax because exams, works and a lot of stuff to do are coming and I need some new energies for the next month that is going to be very hard. So here are some funny shots that I took in the morning with my lazy outfit that I really LOVE. The H&M sweater is really comfortable and my new socks that I bought, they're from Calzedonia. I spent my day watching FTV, Travel&Living and a little bit of Desperate Housewives, I miss doing that, but I confess that I worked a little bit too in the morning and during the afternoon I went to the gym, because I need to reach the weight that I really want to have the perfect body for summer, I'm almost there. I wish you all a GREAT monday.
Nas últimas semanas tenho andado a trabalhar demais e decidi parar um bocado para relaxar porque os exames estão quase aí, tal como as entregas de trabalhos e muiiiito trabalho está para vir, por isso precisava de repor algumas energias para o mês que aí vem. Aqui ficam algumas das fotografias que me diverti a tirar de manhã, com o meu look meio preguiçoso que eu ADORO. A sweater da H&M é mesmo confortável e adoro as meias da Calzedonia que comprei. Passei o meu dia a ver FTV, Travel&Living e uns episódios de Desperate Housewives, sentia falta de passar o meu fim-de-semana sem fazer nada, mas confesso que mesmo assim ainda trabalhei um pouco de manhã e à tarde aproveitei para ir ao ginásio porque preciso de atingir o peso que quero realmente ter para poder ter o corpo perfeito no verão, já está quase lá. new in// Body Shop
Body Shop is my latest obsession, I'm truly in love with each product there. The smells, the packages, the colors, the make up pigments, the adorable treatments, the fragrances.. EVERYTHING! I'm truly, deeply, madly in love with that shop, I can't enter there. I need to confess that I stayed about 1hour and half smelling everything and looking like a freak trying everything, and in the end I only bought an exfoliator, ahah. The last time I entered in a Body Shop I couldn't take my eyes off this body butter "Japanese Cherry Blossom". The smell is so adorable and the texture of the product is to die for, and your skin looks really soft and smelling really good, and my BF offered me this body butter.
Ahh want to hear a funny story about this body butter? I'll tell you. He had already bought me this, but I didn't know, I couldn't even imagine that he was going to offer me this, so he took my hand and said "Let's go the Body Shop and you'll going to make the christmas list with their products, because my mother wants to know what do you really want for christmas". I thought that a little weird, but in my mind the only thing I could think about was "OMG OMG he wants to go to a body shop with me, so dangerous, he's going to regret". The minute we entered there I started smelling everything, yeah once again, and I started for the opposite side where this body butter was, and he was pushing me to the end of store where this butter was. He wanted to know my honest opinion about the product, and as I was thinking buying it before Christmas so I said "Ohh this have a cool package, but's only that". Ihih, the moment we left the store, he opened is bag pack and gave me this. Ahah, and then I told him the truth, that this is so perfect that I couldn't wait for christmas to have it.

A BodyShop é a minha obsessão mais recente, apaixono-me por todos os produtos deles. Os cheiros, as embalagens, as cores, os pigmentos, os tratamentos para a pele, os perfumes.. TUDO mesmo! Estou mesmo perdidamente apaixonada por esta loja, é um perigo cada vez que lá vou. Vou confessar-vos que já lá fiquei uma hora e meia a cheirar tudo, parecia uma louca a experimentar tudo e no fim só comprei um exfoliante, ahah. A última vez que lá fui não consegui tirar os olhos de uma manteiga de corpo "Japanese Cherry Blossom". O cheiro é óptimo e a textura do produto é magnifica mesmo, a pele fica mesmo macia e a cheirar super bem o dia todo, e o meu namorado como bom namorado que é, ofereceu-mo.
Querem saber uma história engraçada? Ele já me tinha comprado isto, mas eu não sabia, nem sequer imaginava que ele me ia oferecer, então ele pegou-me na mão e disse-me "Vamos à BodyShop e vais fazer a tua lista de Natal porque a minha mãe quer saber o que te dar no Natal" Eu achei super estranho mas só conseguia pensar "Oh Meu Deus, Oh Meu Deus ele quer que eu vá à bodyshop, que perigo. Vai arrepender-se". Desde o minuto que entrámos na loja até sair, cheirei tudo e mais alguma coisa, e comecei pelo lado oposto que ele queria que eu começasse que era onde estava a manteiga de corpo e passou o tempo todo a puxar-me para o fim da loja porque queria a minha opinião sobre o produto e como já o tava a pensar comprar antes do Natal disse "Ohhh tem uma embalagem gira, mas é só isso!" Ihih, quando saímos da loja ele abriu a mochila e tirou de lá o produto. Ahah, e depois disse-lhe a verdade que o creme é tão perfeito que não podia esperar pelo Natal para tê-lo comigo

Lady Gaga went to Lisbon last night with her tour, "The Monster Ball". Gaga is an amazing artist, and an AMAZING singer she has an amazing voice and she surprised me a lot. The show started at 10pm and ended two hours later, with a first performance at 8.30pm by Semi Precious Weapons and the two hours show by Miss Gaga. She wore the portuguese flag, the piano was on fire and she played it with her boots, she said un portuguese "good night portugal" and a lot more. I've never seen an audience like that, all CRAZY and people sang every single song, was really an amazing experience and I wanted all of you with me to share this amazing concert. Gaga's excentric, creative and has a HUGE heart and I didn't know that till yesterday night when she sang and told us little things about her life, I remember a particular one "When I was a little girl people made fun of me, and now I'm on top of them" and "I've never did and I'll never do playback" . "Lady Gaga, you left me speechless"
Ontem à noite foi uma noite dedicada à Lady Gaga que actuou com a sua tour "The Monster Ball". Gaga é de facto uma artista magnífica e uma EXCELENTE cantora, tem uma voz maravilhosa e surpreendeu-me muito. O concerto começou as 22h e acabou duas horas depois, com uma primeira parte às 20h30 pela banda Semi Precious Weapons e as duas horas de concerto da Miss Gaga. Ela usou a bandeira portuguesa, o piano ardeu e ela tocou com as botas de cano alto, disse ainda algumas palavras em portugues como "boa noite portugal" e muito mais aconteceu naquele maravilhoso concerto. Nunca vi uma plateia como aquela, estava tudo AO RUBRO, a cantar todas as musicas, foi uma experiencia a repetir e gostava de a ter partilhado com todos vocês. Gaga é excentrica, criativa e tem um ENORME coração e só ontem tive a percepção disso quando ela mencionou algumas partes da sua vida, nomeadamente "Quando era pequena gozavam comigo e agora passados uns anos tenho mais poder que essas pessoas" ou "Nunca cantei nem nunca irei cantar em playback". diary//Mummy's birthday
Sketchbooks are made of memories, little pieces of your days and little things that you want to remember and in order to that, I decided to dedicate today's post to my beautiful mother. She's turning 45 years old today and I couldn't be more proud of her, she's a very inspiring woman, full of strenght and power and I admire her a lot, she went through a lot of things and I'm proud of her, of everything she does and she did. She's one of my best friends of all time. So, I know that you love vintage stuff, personal things and memories and here are some photos of her. How pretty is she? I LOVE those glasses A LOT.
I also made a list of her favourite things: shoes (she's CRAZY about shoes, seriously I've never seen someone like her she has a MILLION shoes), PRADA fragrance, Carolina Herrera, she LOVES to cook (actually we gave her the kitchenaid that you can see in the list she was crying for it since I can remeber I exist) and photography, she is an amazing photographer as my father is and they have the best pictures EVER, seriously I need to show to you and of course she LOVES France, she is speaking french all the time (the first picture is she and her aunt in Paris, at MoulinRouge, how CHIC!)
Here's a video of a girl that really cativated me the moment I saw the video, it's for the mother's day but it's the most AMAZING video ever and perfect for today.

Os blocos de desenho são feitos de memórias, pequenos pedaços do dia-a-dia e pequenas coisas das quais nos queremos lembrar e tendo isso em conta decidi dedicar o artigo de hoje à minha mãe linda. Faz hoje 45 anos e eu não podia estar mais orgulhosa dela, é uma mulher inspiradora, cheia de força e garra e eu admiro-a muito, passou por muito e estou muito orgulhosa dela, de tudo o que fez e faz. É uma das minhas melhores amigas. Como sei que adoram coisas vintage, pessoais e memórias aqui ficam algumas das suas fotos. ADORO aqueles óculos dela, grrr.
Fiz uma lista das suas coisas preferidas: sapatos (ela é LOUCA por sapatos a sério, nunca vi ninguém assim, ela deve ter um MILHÃO de sapatos), o perfume da PRADA, a estilista Carolina Herrera, ela AMA cozinhar (demos-lhe a kitchenaid que ela anda a pedinchar desde que me lembro), fotografia (ela é uma grande fotógrafa tal como o meu pai, têm as melhores fotografias que alguma vez vi, a sério tenho de vos mostrar um dia) e claro, AMA França, ela está sempre a falar francês (a primeira fotografia é ela em França com a tia em Paris no Moulin Rouge, trés chic)
